I'll settle for the Hien free-throw.
Hien dropped from 53% the previous year to 35% last year. He is an under .500 free throw shooter(46%) for his career. If he doesn’t dramatically improve his free throw shooting I don’t see how you can have him on the floor down the stretch in tight games.
All true. But we’ll also never forget that he made the two most famous free throws in Furman history!

The overall talent is there for this roster if they can work out the chemistry thing.

Hien's second foul shot against Virginia hit the rim about 5 times and then finally fell in.

Hien seems to do better off the ball, setting up plays and screens really well. I don't trust him as a primary ballhandler, but I don't think that's what's expected of him this season. I still like having him on the floor because we seem to do better offensively, but he definitely needs to pick his defense up or else it will be Bowser time...

Going to be different positions at most times this season, Hien and Hughey will be playing the 4 and Bowser and Johnston will be playing 5

As stated before, my guess as to what the depth chart probably currently looks like:

1) Sullinger, Bronson

2) Smith, Anderson

3) Vanderwal, House

4) Hien, Hughey

5) Bowser, Johnston

Has anyone discussed how Tom House is listed as wearing number 3? looks like it won't be retired anytime soon

My guess is Slawson and Bothwell will be retired in about 3 or 4 years from now (year 2 or 3 of new Timmons building being open)

Yep would have to be after House graduates, so 2 or 3 years. Would hope they wouldn't have had anyone wear it in between

He is not paying his own way. Just another way for OSU to add another player in this screwed up NCAA without calling it a scholarship.

Glover started his career at Florida, then transferred to Samford, then Brigham Young, then Kansas State, now Ohio State. Five schools - six seasons. Left BYU because he wasn't going to be eligible. Never really played at KSU - injury problems, I think. I guess the two good seasons at Samford have gone a long way to keep the NIL flowing.

Added note - I checked the Samford roster through recent years. Since the season that should have been Glover's final season they have had 52 players on the roster. Six were walk-ons, four are incoming transfers who will play next season and three are incoming freshmen who also have not played yet. That appears to be 39 scholarship guys in the past four seasons.

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
