Regarding Timmons everything still in the works, its a process, but things are moving

Those pictures we saw are proof that the process is further than its been before, we might as well be thankful for that at least at this point

The reason the tourney matters is whoever is considering putting up their $$ might want to see that NCAA tourney proof first

As it stands you're right, we can't really expect anything, we can only hope still

For now I just wish we would draw better crowds at home, our attendance has been disappointing to me so far this year

The same response we have been getting the last 10 ask the AD's. I am so glad things are moving in the right direction but I want more details!!

The fact that our AD makes it clear that our athletics department as a whole has no greater mission right now than to make the Timmons project a reality gives me confidence

Agreed. Rumor on campus is that they already have significant money behind it already. Furman as of right now is putting a lot of money into buildings. SOHO renovations, NV renovations, and possibly Timmons.

This would be consistent with the established routine: begin by approaching high-net-worth donors in a "quiet phase", followed by a public-phase during which the details are revealed.

BTW, when the family 2016 furmanite made her cross-country visit along with Ms. furmom'16, they carried good advice from my dad: "Look for cranes." Cranes are objective evidence of communities moving forward. I've been happy that in the decade since their visit, the cranes have never left the campus.
