chattanooga has early 6 pt lead over illinois
well they make a hail mary to beat us,miss an easy one at the buzzer to lose to ilini who lead 25 seconds the entire game.now about that missed goal tending call earlier......
UTC did the SoCon no favors with that performance, yeah it was close but damn that game was ugly as heck, both teams looked awful man
DJB can hit a 40 footer under pressure but not a 10 footer. UTC led the whole game until 25 seconds left.
And now the implosion of the UTC basketball program begins, gone are all those transfer rentals, and maybe gone will be coach and Smith as well

Barkley, Smith, and Kellogg were highly complimentary to Chatty. Said it was the best game of the night and that the Mocs deserved to win that game.
A couple stats. They said Chatty took 65 shots to Illinois 40 something and were only 7-14 from the FT line. How the f does an NCAA tourney team shoot 50% from the FT line? Same reason a world class golfer makes four foot putts all day long until he has to make one to win the Masters and then he gags it.
The bottom line was they played down the stretch like they had never been there before and of course they hadn't. DR was right...they choked just like Kentucky choked last night.

Yep remember utc had a 3 point lead very late and Brown choked the front end of a one and one that wasn’t close that would have gave them a 5 point and a win. They choked no doubt.

Maybe, but my gut tells me they are going to lose their coach and take a major step back
Plus the Brewer brothers are in the transfer portal. Not sure if they could get in Furman..
