Post Season

Apparently nowhere. CBI is full. CBR said last week if no NIT they would shut it down. The last game last night and Princeton today could have very well cost us a spot. 3 last second games didn’t go our way. After struggling to get over last Monday I am depressed again.

Furman looks so dumb making those posts premature, I am worried if that's how we manage simple things what other things are we mismanaging??
No wonder we don't have the money to renovate our arena

For the life of me, I do not understand why we would not be playing in a post season tournament.

If another game or 2 had went our way we might have got in. Without knowng I think the players prolly voted no to everything except the NIT. Furman was the highest rated eligible team not to get in besides 18-14 Oregon. The NCAA really needs revisit the auto bids thingy, Maybe not take EVERY regular season champ. Msybe just do away with these auto bids.

The great teams I have known in sports have proved it on the field or court NOT by “thinking” they were better. We got knocked down and we refused to get back up. We took our marbles and went home. True we could have gotten in a lower tourney and lost to lower teams and if we had embarrassed ourselves it would have just shown we have more work to be done. I believe we would have done well.

Folks are going to disagree on this like everything else on this board. We lost on a miraculous shot and then I guess we thought we were too good to play in a lower tourney so we packed it in and quit. Don’t know who actually made the decision. Oh well, maybe next year.

I was upset that we were mislead, Furman (or someone at Furman) could have handled it all much better
