More DI and DII names going into the portal, hope we are keeping an eye on it for someone that can come give us more depth

That’s a lot of peeps. I counted 6 from WCU. Interesting that Faulkner from WCU is going to Louisville.

??

You looking at last years list
Faulkner played at Louisville this year, when we beat them

Looks like a bunch in there from Drury and one appears to be one of their top men.
There’s an interesting guy from Mercyhurst as well. The DII guys seem to stay put if things are going well. They are in the Elite eights next week so we’ll see if guys try to move up after that. Went to Sweet 16 game on Tuesday, and it was maybe the best game I’ve ever seen.

Maybe getting grad students from DII to fill our roster depth each year would be a good pipeline to create, Garrison certainly worked out well. Bring in guys playing with a chip on their shoulder that have also already proven an ability to produce, best of both worlds

Bob told me we were “full” for next year a couple weeks ago.

But Kenney transferring opens up a spot.

Yep, would be nice to add another veteran piece to the team

Wonder if something is going on under the surface at Woffy considering their football concerns also

I heard they had talked to ED and they have decided to shutdown their baseball program as that will fix everything,

Wofford is not that smart.

Ideally we need a strong big man in 6’8-6’10 range that can rebound and shoot down low. Whether Slawson stays or not, you only have Hien as an experienced big man. We had no match for DeSousa of UTC.

I’d go for 6’10” or bigger. If you can get a dominant shot blocker you take away the layup/inside scoring. That makes the other team completely 3 dependent. The NCAA tourney is demonstrating again that modern players cannot hit a midrange shot if their life depends on it, so you barely have to defend the midrange area.

Kind of hard to attract quality transfers when your Coach is out interviewing.
