Up one in the net to #66. Agree, it will be hard to move up this week. Citadel is a lot like FU, love the 3. Makes them dangerous. Shot poorly against UTC but won’t against FU. Same old story. FU gets everyones best shot. Way too msny tickets left for Wednesday. C’mon people! This team deserves a good crowd. Why these students won't go to the games on a Wed. night (or Sat.) is a mystery to me, when all they have to do is walk across campus. What the heck else do they have to do on a week night? You can't study all the time. Everybody needs a break.
I bet we had 500-800 students or more almost every game back in the 70's when I was at FU. Had a damn good showing in Charlotte at the North/South doubleheader too, every year. It was a whole lot of fun and a good way to blow off some steam.

Students were actually turning out pretty good early in the year, its these dang Wednesday night games that are just terrible for the SoCon, unless the league changes things up next season (which they should) I don't see much that can be done about it

UTC has 3 tough games in 6 days starting Wednesday, At Samford, MERCER, @Mercer. Would love to see Mercer knock them off once since we are 2-0 with Mercer. I am pulling for Mercer to finish third, just in case we win out and are tied with Chattanooga for first place. The way I read the tiebreaker rules, that would give us the top seed. If we win out and Are tied w UTC
UTC wins the tie break (2-0 vs VMI while we are 1-1). We do need UTC to lose another game if we want the #1 seed.
Now if Mercer beats UTC once we definitely will want to support Mercer finishing above VMI.
