Suites are only on the side nearest the entrance. The other side will have a gathering/eating place with tables etc. Suites on that side are not possible because of the large support beam that is still there. The end door is for the courtside seats as I stated. That room is not big enough for students. You are probably right. I was disoriented about where I was several times. I guess we will find out when the arena is completed, but I remember from the tour that the entrance to the courtside seats is entered from the room dedicated to those that buy the courtside tickets. On the tour, we went into the dedicated area and then walked into the arena directly to the court. There was actually not a door connected to that area. It was open. Those folks will have direct access from VIP parking to the gathering area (I cannot remember the name of it.) and then direct access to their courtside seats. They will be behind the basket. Their section does not have seats, it is bench seating. The band if and when they show up will be in said corner. There will be plenty of opportunity for them to be seen on tv. Think free throws. With this new video I have come up with the number of seats. Not 100% accurate but it’s pretty close:
988 sideline
450 end zone(including student section)
456 corners
100 courtside(optimistic)
200 in suites(estimate)
2,194 Total
I think this is very close. Was optimistically hoping for 2,500 without suites but it won’t be close to that. Right now it’s about 1,900 seats counting the student section.

Yep I’m afraid my dead center half court seats will now be end zone at best and maybe not at all with so few seats.
That would be fruitless. Move up one tier for thousands more. No thanks.
