Per SD calcs, if UNCG losses 1 of 3, best wooffy can do is 2nd place with W vs Dins. With woofy L to Dins, UNCG is 2nd woofy is 3rd.

Point is ... woofy is playing for 2nd at best, Dins are playing for Reg season title at best.

S1 - Dins win 3 UNCG lose 1

1. Dins
2. UNCG
3. Woofy

S2 - Dins win 2 UNCG lose 1

1. UNCG
2. Woofy
3. Dins

S3 - Dins win 2 UNCG wins 3

1. UNCG
2. Woofy
3. Dins

... UNCG will lose to ETSU ...
I'm curious what the gang thinks about that game. I think it looks pretty good for ETSU (& by extension, for Furman). They'll be playing at Johnson City in their last game of the season. Reason enough to want to win the last game at home before the tournament.

They've also got a statistical chance at 4th place and their UNCG game is at 4pm, before Chattanooga plays VMI at 7 to possibly seal it. Even more reason for ETSU to be hungry going into that game.

I’m hoping that WCU pulls a rabbit out of the hat and beats them in the whee Monday night.

With the VMI canx, Dins can still claim #1 seed with UNCG loss. Need to play at least 2. If one more game is canx dont think they can do it

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage
