UNCG beat Woffy also. We have just about locked up 3rd place, any combination of FU wins or WC losses totaling one, locks it up. The only way to lose it is if WC beats ETSU and Mercer it's last 2 games and we lose to ETSU. That would give the tie-breaker to WC by virtue of it's win against ETSU.
So now it looks like UNCG could win the regular season after all? I think UNCG is the best team but Furman's draw if 3rd is looking better and better. Especially if we now avoid Mercer and UNCG until the final.
ETSU's best player - Desonta Bradford - missed the game tonight with a bad ankle. He might be back for their game with Wofford on Friday, but it isn't certain. There is the possibility they might rest him until the tournament if they don't think he is 100% Another guard has been battling illness.
