We are now locked in to playing the 6PM game Saturday against the winner of the Wofford/Citadel game.

Yes. Looks like we will play Woffy on Saturday night. I hope our fans show up. Last year, it was pathetic.

With Wofford having lost 6 games in a row by a total of 26 points, they are a dangerous team. They were my least favorite team to play of the middle 4 tough teams. But it is what it is. No game in the tourney will be easy. Glad we get to play the 6 PM game.

They will be playing their second game in two days. I hope the Citadel runs them hard.

Same. The thought of playing them makes me nervous already. But if we shoot like we did tonight we will be fine.

ETSU hit like 4 3’s in the last 3 minutes including one with 7 seconds to beat Western 68-67. ETSU was very lucky and should have lost. Dotson for Western missed the front end of a 1-and-1 in the last minute. ETSU has found a way to win in their last 3 games (could have easily lost to Sammy, Wofford and Western).

UTC beat UNCG 74-72 shooting 49 % from the field and 50% from 3. UTC i believe is still the best shooting team in the conference.

Mercer beat Wofford 59-47.

Sure we could lose to Wofford but Mercer, Western and UTC are very formidable opponents so I think Wofford is probably the one of those 4 I would choose to play.

ETSU probably kept their at-large bid hopes alive today's come from behind win. Guard Patrick Good pulled them out of the fire today. He scored 17 points in the last 4 minutes of the game - including the three point shot with 7 seconds left that was the deciding bucket. Good hit 7-14 threes for the game. The rest of ETSU's team hit 3-18.

Haven’t seen a game in person . But looking at scores I want NO PART of Woffd. None. Loss in game 1. Last second win in game 2. Been talking up our team all yr. if we lose to Woffd in rd 1 would sucketh. Big time. Go Furman, let’s get in the madness!

Sure any of those teams can beat us on a bad day, but Wofford has lost 7 straight which is more than just bad luck.
