I didn't double check the numbers, but someone online did a comparison of last year's attendance for SoCon games in January on Wednesdays and Saturdays and compared them to this year.
Wednesday games saw a decline in attendance of over 400 per game while Saturday games saw a slight increase in attendance. If that also holds true in February I think they need to go back to the old schedule.
