thought this tidbit was interesting "Southern Conference teams combined to go 79-48 in nonconference play, including 12-4 against the Big South, 7-1 against the ASUN, 8-3 against the Sun Belt, 6-3 against the OVC and 3-0 against the Horizon League"

For as bad as SoCon football was out of conference, SoCon basketball has been outstanding.
