Looks like he also had an offer from Mercer.

Nice early pickup. A 6'1 185 he looks like a kid that could stay at safety or be moved to linebacker at some point in the future. He looks like an agressive and physical player.

Looking at the roster, we have only 1 senior at safety (Okeh).

Caden was one of the recruits that Furman seemed to focus on early - that's a guess based on the social media graphics and interactions between him and the coaches. I'm sure Furman has a strategy here - and we as a fan - only get a peak when a player shares these interactions. I say this based on Caden's father tweeting about a month ago how impressed he was with the Furman program and coaches. CCH and staff have a great record of getting some really good players off the board early (Evan Jumper). I have no doubt more schools will still offer Caden, hopefully, is locked. I love what he brings.

Great pickup - Furman offered him pretty early and knowing Quarles Tennessee roots I started following Youngblood.
Another very talented two-way player, his offered schools speak for himself; all academies, Richmond, VMI as well as local school ETSU.

Youngblood plays physical, seems to have great linebacker presence and for a big guy closes on the ball quickly — leading tackler last season on a loaded Greeneville team that was 4-A State champion (118 tackles, including nine TFLs and three sacks). And then you have his ability to play fullback. Can't find his rushing stats but he will run over you as well as knock you on your a$$.

let's get some of them LItttlejohn's from Gaffney - last time (2001) that worked out pretty well ! I swear they always have some Littlejohns over there

"Littlejohn, 31, is a 1997 graduate of Gaffney, where he also played football.
He went on to have a standout career at Furman and played in the 2001 NCAA I-AA national championship game — a 13-6 loss to Montana."

The “big fast nasty” commit is probably Evan DiMaggio from Buford HS per his tweet (@EvanDiMaggio2). Looks like a GREAT get! He had offers from Liberty and E.Mich.

Looks like another solid pickup. Plays for a powerhouse big Georgia program and appears to be a state finalist wrestler.

There's been, perhaps, no more notable transition on the Furman roster than the inside linebacker position. Clay Hendrix inherited a team with virtually no linebacker depth, and those that were there almost all converted from other positions to fill out a depth chart (Woodruff, Olusanya, Voyles, Burch).

Three years in and Furman looks like it will likely go 3 deep next season with ILBs, all of whom played that position in high school and go 6'2 220+
