Wake Forest hires John Currie

This may have flown under the radar, but I was a little worried we might lose Mike Buddie to this job. Wake hired Currie to take over for Wellman. Glad to see we were able to keep Buddie!

I too am glad we got to keep Buddie. I believe Furman ought to do what it can to retain him long term. Stability and competence are of great value.

He's an alum. He raised his family there. He never came out and said he wasn't interested. It would have been a pay raise. He was the number #2 guy there when he left.
Even if there was just a conversation I'm sure there was some interest.
