When has THIS happened before: Furman completing a football season with both a winning record and a win in the final game?
Answer: 2009; 2007; 2003; 1997; 1995; 1988; 1987; 1984. Plus numerous times in the years before 1982 when Furman began competing in FCS (for example, 1980, 1978, 1976, 1970).
We would be able to add 2018 to the above list of years if we do not make the playoffs.
(Of course, we would be able to add 2018 to the above list of years also if we DO make the playoffs and win the championship.)

Sunday afternoon additional comments:
At least we now have the 1st time in 9 years that we have ended a winning season with a win; and the 9th time in 37 years that we have ended a winning season with a win.
