I did not realize where Davis, CA, is until just now.
UC Davis and Sacramento State are only 15 minutes apart.
UC Davis has 41,000 students and a two Billion endowment.
Sacramento State has 31,000 students.
It’s not surprising if they both go to FBS and to the same FBS conference when they go.

My guess is yes.
Why should we think that they would not be making FBS plans?

At this point, it seems like everyone that has a dance partner is willing to move up.

The west is in a lot of flux. The PAC12 breaking a part has left a bit of a vacuum
