Wynn with a short plunge and Roberts to Walker TD pass to go up 21-0. Give up a long VMI TD pass to make it 21-7. Really can't afford to give up many points.

Any play by Dirks or Morehead or Trapp? Can’t watch right now

Haven't seen Dirks or Morehead. Trapp is playing. FTI we don't have tp worry about giving up points. Sammy is taking Citadel to the woodshed in Charleston. It's all going to come down to next week. FU with 371 yds of offense in the first half. Roberts with 232 passing.

Perfect timing by the coach to put Hamp Sisson in the game.

A lot of bubble teams around the country lost as well today. Furman may well be playing for a playoff berth next week.

Yep, Citadel was down 21-0 in the second and has outscored Sammy 28-6 since.

It was announced before the game that Dirks didn't make the trip...he hasn't passed concussion protocol yet.
Morehead played a few snaps in the 4th quarter, but didn't carry the ball.
Trapp played a very good game...broke up a handful of passes.

That's 17 or fewer surrendered by the defense in 3 of last 4.

Holding VMI to 13 today was huge. One of the final tie breakers if it comes to it is points allowed in SoCon play.
