I've got Dimaggio on the short list of SoCon DPOTY. Glad he plays on our team.

Sounds like Dimaggio will not have the luxury of rotating in and out like last year and be on the field most of the time. Just hope Achina stays healthy.

Disagree…
Herbert and Earl are gonna see a ton of PT.
As mentioned by the coach, they could have played last year, but they wanted to redshirt them.
Achina, Herbert, and Earl are the future…

I suspect it will be similar to last season.

Furman relied pretty heavily on a four player rotation last season with Gilby, DiMaggio, Sciana, and Kuzemka. Gilby and Ryan did not, however, appear to rotate much.

AP does have a point in that we are more dependent on Achina health this year. That’s for sure. And just for the young man I hope he stays healthy! I feel the last two years it was less of a hurt to the team that he got hurt. I feel he’s more needed this year. Again, I just hope for him that he can be a big contributor all year

Achina staying healthy certainly will matter. All starters staying healthy matter at this level with less scholarships than FBS.

Herbert and Earl were highly regarded players with good offers. They'll play a good bit and I feel like they're both going to be good players.

Should we have a serious issue at LB with multiple injuries during the year, I'm sure Chiedo could slide back in if needed as he was only just moved to Bandit this fall (as far as we/I know). Plus, we never know if we have another Kuzemka or Scianna waiting in the wings. I'm not sure if those guys were well known prior to getting to start through some injuries but both of those guys played well when they got their opportunity.

To your point - Furman played a heavy rotation of the PWO linebackers during Saturday's scrimmage.
#10 Brant Babin 6-1 218 played a good it
#52 Owen Plane 6-1 210 played a good bit
I hope I got the numbers right #56 Case Barrett, 6-2 218, and #57 Luke McLaughlin, 6-2 210, got a good many reps.
All these PWO linebackers have good size.
