FUBeAR does not like the title of this thread. He asks you to please consider changing it - which you can do by changing the subject line in your original post.

2 reasons…

1) FUBeAR is, and he hopes all Paladins are, a HUGE Delaware fan today. We want Delaware to win, so that they can come to Paladin Stadium next week (assuming good triumphs over evil today). Saying “Montana or bust” implies that we are supporting Montana in their game against Delaware or at least implying we have accepted that as the favorite today, their destiny will be fulfilled with a victory.

2) WCU’s Head Coach said repeatedly this pre-season and more than a few times before Furman and Mercer whipped ‘em …. “Championship or bust!” He followed that assertion with his claim that his Teams always win Championships in his 3rd year at their Head Coach. Well, we all know that WCU sniffed no parts of a SoCon Championship this season and finished in 4th place in the SoCon with a 5-3 record. Ironically, that keeps their record perfect. The Catamounts have NEVER won a SoCon Championship in nearly 50 years of trying. And, on the off-chance, Coach Bell was referring to the FCS National CHAMPIONSHIP, we know they were not even one of the 1st 4 Teams out of the Playoffs. Like the SoCon Championship, they didn’t even sniff the Playoffs … for the 40th consecutive year. FUBeAR is still waiting to learn what the “or bust” part of Coach Bell’s self-imposed ultimatum involves. He hasn’t resigned. WCU hasn’t shut down their Football program (yet). So…with the uncertainty of the “or bust” piece in the WCU case and just the desire to not be WCU-emulative, FUBeAR doesn’t like the phrase.

Will you please consider changing it, AllTimeFU?

It gives ol’ FUBeAR the heebie-jeebies.
