I’m glad PC took a flier on him. I mean the forward pass was considered “crazy” …until it wasn’t. Sometimes things are ahead of their time. Certainly was DOMINANT in HS. And I mean dominant. I wonder if the analytics just don’t work the same because an average HS Punt is only 30 yards or whatever (certainly less than college) etc.

Was interesting because one thing he said was our entire play book was open on 3rd and 5. Since he was going on 4th. You knew most everyone else in HS was definitely passing on 3rd and medium or longer

I believe he's also the coach that relegated Tyler Huff to the bench.

He was dominant in a private school league, and he beat the crap out of NAIA teams until he had to play a real opponent. He decimated the PC program.

Piggy backing off the article, though, it's a good time to be a Paladin.

We ended last year with our men's bball team making a big splash in the NCAA tournament. The team looks young but could be very good over the next few seasons.

We started this fall with our football team putting together a strong season. There's a lot of promise with this coaching staff and players.

Many of our other sports are among the best in the SoCon in their respective disciplines.

Now, we just need to bring back baseball.

Anen to bringing back baseball. It’s a long drought from March to September without any FU spectator sports. Yes it is a great time to be a Paladin fan, unprecedented really.

Big game today. Crowd will be small unfortuntly. You know FU fans if the weather is not perfect they stay home.

We may have improved student attendance by moving their tailgates into the corner of the stadium, but we haven’t improved their engagement in the game itself. Leaving at halftime is still a problem. The empty student section looked bad today.
