OL depth

I recall years ago we would only have 7 or 8 OL with a guy as both a starter and as a backup at another position. I thought - was I wrong ?- we started this year with 10 OL. a true two deep. I know we lost our starting OG :? Petit out for year. But that should still leave 9 on OL.

This weeks two deep only lists Seven OL ? Johanning, Hundley and Wilson all playing two positions ??

I see that as the seven listed are obviously our top seven, who can play multiple positions, something CCH has mentioned several times that coach McCutchan emphasizes. I guess FU could list different guys as backups at every position, but not all backups have identical ability.

Y. Not a big concern just interesting.

Was

1. Toomey. Lt
2. Brasher

1. Petit. . Lg. Out for year
2. Lamb

1. Hughes. Center
2. Volmer

1. Johanning. RG
2. Wilson

1. Norman. . Rt
2. Hundley

Now

1. Toomey . Lt
2. Johanning

1. Hundley. Lg
2. Wilson.

1. Hughes. Center
2. Volmer

1. Johanning. Rg
2. Wilson

1. Norman. Rt
2. Hundley

Short is that we are listing older guys ( johanning ) as backups on left side

Hope Toomey is 100 percent and Johanning can move back to his normal position.
