I guess the takeaway:
1. We have silver lids. Black facemasks. The diamond on one side, "FU" on the other.
2. Gray pants (or in Georgia, the "silver britches") appear to make a return.
3. The purple on white is still there, but it looks paired with the silver helmet.
4. No one is wearing the road whites, so I'm not sure if we'll see a change there. Might still be white/white/white, though we have worn white on gray a number of times on the road.

Nothing is changing, just some new possible combos for select games.

I wouldn't say "nothing is changing." We have only 5 home games, and these are three different uniform combinations. So, I would expect at least 75% of our home games will be something other than white/purple/white
I imagine we'll see these combinations worked into the rotation and debut Thursday night.
I do agree these are probably rotational looks and not a wholesale across-the-board change.

Poor choice of words by me. All white not going anywhere, same for purple white combo. Don't read too much into new combos and the number of home games.

Since we've eliminated the Diamond F on one side of the helmet, why not take the next step and put Dins on each side. We just need a donor who will want it.

A couple of other observations (I really do geek out on this sort of thing):
1. There are two versions of the silver helmet - one has black logos and the other purple.
2. The promo video has the gray pants, which I do not believe we wore at all last season. The gray jerseys also made a few appearances in community events for the team, so I suppose it's quite possible that the gray jerseys are still in the rotation and just were not used last season.
3. I'm not sure if these helmets are 1 off for each season. Last year Furman debuted the purple matte helmet (which I really liked) and wore it for two games. Not sure if that helmet is still in the rotation or was just for 2022.
4. It does appear that Furman's classic purple/white will still be the standard look.

2. I feel like we wore the gray pants at VMI but I could be wrong. 5. I noticed that as well. I think the Silver/Purple/Gray actually looked pretty sharp.
I still prefer the classic looks but I appreciate that Furman is willing to adapt. Some will hate them, some will love them. That's the case with any change.

Agree Flagman the diamond F should be on both sides! These are not silver helmets, they are chrome. I like but the diamond F should be on both sides. If you are honoring the 50th anniversary of the diamond F why take it off on one side?

Agree with this. That's a rough look. The two combos hoop mentioned seem to make the most sense to my eye and were the predominant combos in the video.
I think I'd be fine with the Silver/White/White as well but would have to see it to be sure.
