Actually, it's probably safe to assume that anyone from VMI on this list has already entered the portal. Things look bleak over there. Pretty sure they had at least 11 enter yesterday along.

I don't track this stuff as much (I do injuris lol).. if anyone keeps up with transfers/portal I would appreciate it. Matter of fact I will start a thread to track it - thanks to those of you that update this stuff. Thanks again to FUWolfpacker !

Of all the transfers so far, Mercer's and WCU's seem to be the smallest impact for sure (as bear pointed out). All the other teams are losing starters or guys that had significant playing time/contributions.
It's definitely not over. I'm a little surprised that no one from the Citadel has popped up yet. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few from Samford and Furman either. It's just going to be part of every off season going forward probably.

depending on his academics and remaining elgibility might like to have wr parker wofford from the transfer portal.he gave us fits.believe he could slide right into ryan miller's spot.

I think a WCU fan mentioned they brought in 5 last year? Gonzalez has seemed to separate himself, so I guess the others wanted a less crowded QB room? Plus Davis can still come back as well, so might not be much playing time available anytime soon. I'm fairly sure they still have 3 on the roster even after the 4 left. They may not all be scholarship QBs either. Not sure. Furman had 5-6 on the roster this year but only 3 were scholarship QBs I believe.

Updated. With the FBS portal opening on Dec. 5th, it's probably about to get tougher for a lot of these guys. Some new additions from other teams. Wofford is losing their starting RG, starting WR (and his back up), starting FS, and starting SS. Technically they're losing their starting QB as well, but I'm guessing he wasn't going to start next year anyway with the transfers they brought in last year. A couple of these guys, Stone Synder and Tahir Annoor already have offers from other conference schools (Samford). I imagine most people saw it coming, but VMI is losing a lot of starters on a team that was already struggling and is going to have a new staff next year. I would imagine they'll have to be very active in the portal.
Surprisingly, The Citadel has no one in the portal. Not surprisingly, Samford also has no one in the portal.

That was my thought as well. I'm not sure they can sign enough HS players to replace what they're losing in the portal and to graduation, so thought maybe they'd at least try? Things look pretty bleak over there.
