VMI's Coach Wachenheim resigned.

The Citadel has "not renewed" Brent Thompson.

So, two jobs open.

Technically 3 with Wofford not being a done deal for Watson yet, right? Maybe I missed something.

Personally with an 0-16 team and then basically making them 3-2 to finish I would give him a year

I think they might have considered it until they got steamrolled by their most hated rival this past Saturday...

I think that probably did him in.

I wouldn't give anyone a single year. Wofford is going to have to rebuild that entire program like Furman had to do after Bruce Fowler. It'll be a 4 or 5 year rebuild.

I cannot imagine there's a huge list of folks lining up to take over a struggling program at one of the smallest D1 schools.

I still think the Terriers should look at the guy they passed up last time - Shiel Wood. Spartanburg native and former Wofford player and coach.

Didn't VMI give Wachenheim a nice contract last year? Guess it wasn't enough.

Just took DC Job at Troy this 2022 season. Prior Troy DC made $300k+. Would imagine Wood got more. Let’s, conservatively, say $325.

Woffy gonna pay him $400k?

Wood's father is a VP at Wofford and former AD. He may give a home town discount.
