Well if you go by this, to get a top 8 seed things we should root for this Saturday are:
Furman beat Wofford

Mercer smokes Samford (maybe that could bump us past them)

William & Mary to beat Richmond

Montana St. to beat Montana


And then some long shot games:
Norther Arizona to beat Weber St.

Northwestern St. to beat Incarnate Word

North Dakota to beat NDSU

Georgetown to beat Holy Cross

I’m not giving this another thought when they have Mercer ahead of UTC.

Moved up only one spot in STATS poll to 12th one spot ahead of Montana. Samford #9, UTC at 15 and Mercer 19th.

FWIW, Furman is up to 10th in the Any Given Saturday poll. Samford is 8th, UTC 14th, Mercer 17th

One game that really doesn’t matter is the UR/W&M game. The winner of that game will be ahead of us. The chances are slim that FU gets a seed. If we beat WC it will be a 6 game winning streak, 5 game road winning streak, 3 top 20 wins, have not lost an FCS game with TH, outgained a top 10 FBS team. That is a pretty impressive resume but doubt any of the committee has a clue about any of this or cares.

If they are not aware then we need to light up the committee twitter feed this week. Anybody have the twitter accounts of the committee members? Time to make some noise.
