^^^ I'm surprised you posted this AP. Based on you're predictions of Furman's mediocrity?
No relation whatsoever. Roberto had a great day but unfortunately the defense had their worst dayi in history. ……and its your prediction, not you’re.

Now, there's an even bigger target on his back.

Roberto is a big back, but he slimmed down some this offseason and for 230+ lbs, is a lot faster than he looks.

The field vision has been outstanding. You don't expect a big guy like that to be able to stretch the zone and then cut up field and outrun folks.

Why does OL get no credit. ? Right FUBEAR. That’s is where the rubber meets the road. OL v DL. Just once I wish the awards would go an OL Unit or a guy with 9 pancake blocks. Roberto was great but our OL was also great !! Huge holes

I don’t know why I hold out hope. In SoCon the refs are atrocious. To hope for more credit to go to OL and DL is hoping beyond hope. LOL.

Anyway, I’ll say it - “ thanks to the big boys up front !!!!!!”

Not sure why you'd say that. Furman named the entire offensive line co-offensive players of the week.

It was a great game to see them playing as a unit. Remember, they have a new OL coach and things are coming together. Let's see them build on it at VMI and be a multi-threat offense against Chatty.

My mistake. Must be a Furman twitter feed or wherever. Glad to hear it!

SoCon named Roberto and Sochovka.

Nationally it’s Roberto. . You almost never see a national award for an OL. :?

About Us

GoPaladins.com is the latest iteration of The Unofficial Furman Football Page. Launched in August of 1996, The UFFP welcomes fans of all FCS football teams - and fans of the more inferior sports, too - for discussion, cameraderie, and even the occasional smack talk.

For example, Furman has nearly twice as many Southern Conference football championships as the next best SoCon member, and over three times as many as The Citadel....which is why they must carry our luggage

GoPaladins.com is not affiliated with Furman University or its athletics programs.
