This is good for Furman to be able to keep Blackshear in the fold. He's generally been one of the league's best CBs.
Going into 2022, Furman has almost an embarrassment of riches in the defensive backfield at CB position:

Again, there are more guys in the transfer portal than there are places to transfer. If you don't find a program that lines up either academic-wise or football-wise, then a player may just be better off staying where they are.

Travis doesn’t graduate until May- which is a very different scenario when the new school can’t get them on campus for spring practice. We are fortunate to have Mr. Blackshear back!
