Even though born in Memphis he grew up in Nashville, played HS there so it is his hometown. He has a good job there so doubt if he has much interest but if he would like to coach at the college level and further his career then there might be some intetest.

We all know the final flames of the glory days of FU football left with Ingle at the end of 2005
I personally think he would be a huge addition to the coaching staff

He might be willing to be OC since the HC job will be available in a few years. He wouldn’t come to FU to be a QB coach would he? That would seem pretty dumb. He’s one FU tree guy who would get approval from Furmanoid since he has clearly demonstrated that he can run a team (even though that team is several steps below Kumquat State). That is different from running drills for a position group even if that group is FCS. And he is able to teach so so athletes even though he is a guy to whom any sport comes easy. That’s a big deal and sort of rare among great athletes.

But at some point the inbreeding needs to stop. I live by the Irish Travelers so I’ve seen what it leads to.

So seems there could be 3 FU guys in the mix for OC:
Ingle Martin
Brain Bratton
Patrick Covington

Anything else we are looking at would most likely come from outside
