Pregame writeup suggests that 12 seniors will be honored for senior day. They don't list the names.
https://furmanpaladins.com/news/2021/11 ... inale.aspx
Based on the roster, this is who I think will have played out eligibility:
1. Stokes (5th)
2. Deluca (5th)
3. Lawrence (5th)
4. McKoy (5th)
5. Clay (5th)
6. Wynn (5th)
7. Daniel (R-Sr)
8. Hope (R-Sr)
9. Lewis (Sr)
10. McElveen (Sr)
11. Domino (Sr.)
Sochovka is a redshirt senior, but I'd be interested to know if he qualifies for a medical redshirt given his early season injury. There's always the possibility that one of the redshirt juniors decides moves on as well.
Thanks to the seniors. Been fun watching them play.

Sochovka can come back if he wants and is my understsnding he wants to come back and is exploring how to do it. Remember if a player is not listed as 5th he has eligibility left including those listed as Sr or R-Sr. So only the 6 listed as 5th have used all of their eligibility.

Anyone see the game notes? Would like to see who is listed as starter at QB.

It's sort of irrelevant who is listed. Furman has listed Sisson and started Wilson and listed Wilson and started Sisson this year.

What I would like to see today:
1. Take some inspiration from the BB team and come out enthusiastic and loose. Have some fun, hit somebody.
2. Establish the run early with Abrams, Roberto, Anderson and hopefully Wynn.
3. Take some shots down the field.
4. Play 2 QB's. Special package of plays designed for each's strengths.
5. On defense need to get after the QB and not let him sit back there all day with time to throw.
6. Maybe some nickel DB looks. Gotta have some pass defense.
7. A Paladin win.

Contrary to popular belief VMI is a running team not passing but they can throw it some. I am sure after seeing FU is pretty defenseless against the pass they will throw more often today.

What I'm seeing is Furman running the "Jerome Felton playbook."
With Roberto's emergence, Furman is starting to use him like Felton. Frequently a single back with the constant threat of pounding. When not in the backfield, he's lined up at the wing as a big-bodied blocker.
I'm glad to see it.

Also, going forward we're seeing a lot more Roberto/Abrams and less RB/TB.

VMI's a top 20 team for a reason. Everyone thought they were a fluke in the spring. They aren't.

Good half.
Offensively, the run game has looked strong. Roberto is looking more like "the guy" going forward. As usual, we need a little bit more in the passing game. We don't need a lot in the throwing game, but need to get a little more consistency there with VMI stacking the line.
Defensively, not too much to complain about. They are getting after the QB. I thought it was a mental mistake by Blackshear on the first TD to try and strip the ball instead of getting the man down. The second TD was set up with a short field and questionable PI call.
We'll see everything VMI's got. Their path to the playoffs likely requires them to beat Furman today.

Looking at the game notes, they list 13 seniors.
The 11 listed above, but also (surprising) Timmy Bleekrod and Travis Blackshear.
Sochovka not recognized, so maybe he'll be back to anchor the DL in 2022.

Not too much to complain about on D? How about already giving up 300 yds passing?
