This has been a fun year for Furman football. The game day atmosphere yesterday was great and there was a buzz around the stadium. It sure is nice to beat the Citadel. It never gets old.

One accomplishment that should be recognized is that for the first time since 2009, Furman has drawn at least 10,000 fans for each of its first 3 home games. In 2019, the average Paladin Stadium attendance was 6,039 fans per game. As of this moment (through 3 home gamss), Furman is averaging 10,665 per game which is an increase of 77 percent.

The average home game attendance through October 16th is as follows..
Furman - 10,665 per game
Citadel - 10,368 per game
W. Carolina - 9,354 per game
ETSU - 9,286 per game
Mercer - 9,030 per game
UTC - 8,158 per game
VMI - 5,362 per game
Wofford - 5,318 per game
Samford - 4,965 per game

Another week at the top for Furman.

Clemson losing + Covid anxiety

People just want to be together and Furman is a great option.

Clempson has never had any effect on Furman attendance. Never has never will.

You have to give Jason and his staff a shout out. They have made Furman football an event people enjoy attending. Atmosphere is really good on game days. Kudos to JD and his staff.

Memo to whoever makes the decisions. Night games are fine in September. October, not so much.

Awesome, lets keep it going! :D

Homecoming weekend up now, invite every former purple colored fan yall know back to campus

Hopefully ETSU will travel well as they are less than 2 hours away and will be ranked in the Top 15 with a 6-1 record

Invite the ETSU band as well

Give away a ton of group discounted tickets to the Greenville County community, to anybody that has 20+ people and is interested

All the new gameday experiences have been great for the new fans coming to the games, getting them to have a good time one way or another

Hopefully a really good FU student turnout as well, homecoming game is usually the game that brings the most out

Right now Saturday weather forecast is 75 and sunny, looking great

Plus its a huge game, winner essentially stays in tie atop the SoCon!
