1:30 ETSU @ UTC- game of the week. If ETSU wins they are still undefeated along with MU and eliminates UTC. If UTC wins MU is only undefeated left. Game is on Nexstar- channel 62 in Greenville,
1:30 Samford @ Wofford- both have been eliminated. ESPN+
4:00 VMI @ Mercer- If Mercer wins they remain undefeated and eliminates VMI. If VMI wins they remain in contention and the day could end with no undefeated teams if UTC wins. ESPN+
6:00 Citadel @ Furman- Citadel is already elimnated and could eliminate FU with win. A Furman win keeps them in the race. ESPN3.

Let's check in on Samford and Wofford.

Wofford has a 3rd and 10 on their 10, commits an illegal procedure. Comes back, runs the same play - a QB keeper for about 6 yards.

Samford gets the ball, breaks off a long run to the 5. Can't score because their offense can't operate on the goalline. Hatcher attempts a fake double reverse on a fourth down from the 3, which gets called back for holding.

If you like gimmicky/inefficient offenses and no defense, this is your game, man.

I'm watching ETSU/Chatt; 7-0 Chatt at Half. Not very impressed with either QB. ETSU QB has lost a fumble and thrown an INT. Chatt QB telegraphs EVERY pass and doesn't appear to be able to run. For some reason Chatt's best All SoCon RB Ford has not played too much.

Wofford is, intelligently, trying to actually give the ball to their best player, Mulligan.

On the last drive, Wofford's QB threw the ball 7 yards short on a deep ball to an open receiver, then spiked a smoke route to a WR, then blew a nice run by pitching the ball forward instead of backwards.

I'm not sure Wofford will beat any other team on their schedule, including Western.

Chattanooga had a great chance to score a second TD but threw an INT while within a couple of yards of the endzone. UTC 7-0 at the half.

Wofford has some big plays but nothing consistent.

From the SoCon race unless you believe in fairytales and miracles.

Conklin has taken an arguably championship program that Ayers developed and has reduced it to maybe the worst team in the SoCon.

Couldn't happen to nicer guy.

Yep, they need to let him go. Down 17 near midfield with a minute to go before half and he lets the clock run out. What kind of message does that send to your team?

He lets the clock run out after his offense was looking to the sideline for the call for about 20 seconds. They rearrange their offense, still run option pitch, and get a good gain.

Why do you not at least try to get into a spot for a kick there?

Wofford is going to figure out at some point the best thing they can do is move on from Conklin and do so as fast as possible.

In the past ten full seasons of SoCon football the champion has gone undefeated 2 times; five champs had one loss and three times there was a tie for teams with two losses.

Chatt RB Ford not playing much so far, but just scored on a long run. Chatt short kickoffs reaching about the ETSU 25 - set up ETSU in good field position. ETSU RB just broke a long run up the middle. Chatt 14 ETSU 10. 3 min remaining in Q3.
