Wasn’t that a pick by us? In the end zone? Is that reviewable. ? If so that’s a HUGE momentum shift. W pick its up 11 our ball. Instead up just one score of 8 ….

IF it’s reviewable that’s a HUGE miss by the refs and our coaches too (!!!)not to take a timeout

Thanks in advance for answers

This was discussed in the game thread. It was an interception. It could and should have been reviewed. My understanding is that we could have asked for a review. The announcers said the coaching staff in the booth has the option to have a monitor. Might be a good time to say yes if we haven’t done so in the past.

Rumor has it that the referee was blind in one eye.

That’s a BIG MISS on ref AND us. Cost us 3 points from up 11 to up 8 - just one score. I couldn’t believe our coaches didn’t at least take a timeout and look at it … we were ahead so The cost benefit of timeout vs turnover wasn’t close

So, we were lucky enough to get the King in the Land of SoCon Officials working our game?

I'm guessing the official was wrapped up watching the play and didnt focus on his job. He made a big show of indicating it was out of bounds. Had to sell his call since he wasnt sure what happened. He was right there and blew the call.

Sort of overlooked, but our DBs played a really solid game.

There was one sort of flukey play where the Wofford QB threw the ball behind the WR and he broke free for a long TD pass.

If you take away that single play, Wofford's QB was 6 of 14 for 70 yards. Several times Furman DBs were getting their hands on the ball in the end zone. They were really close to picking off the Terriers twice inside the end zone.
