Parking

Been a season ticket holder for 15+ years and, this year, I was given a Grey parking pass. Showed up 40 minutes before kickoff and there wasn't a single spot open in the Grey lot, so I had to park way out in front of Younts. While walking to the stadium I counted 13 cars without passes parked in the Grey lot. The 20-something parking attendant was looking at his phone and waving anybody into the Grey lot.
The EPI parking attendants are incompetent. It's ridiculous to pay for a parking pass and not be able to use it because of the ineptitude of the company Furman hires to make sure people park in the correct places. My 78 year old dad shouldn't have to walk all the way to Younts because we suck at managing our parking setup. It's embarrassing.

...almost as embarrassing as the product on the field yesterday.

The company that handles our parking has been inept for years.

Same thing happened to us. A parking attendant told us the game was "sold out", hence the problem. So we had a nice little hike.

I have been parking behind the boys dorm (general parking) for years. At the A&T game , I was directed near the rugby field. Yesterday, in front of the PAC I was directed to the 10 dollar parking near the chapel where the guy told me "anywhere you can find a space" instead of collecting the money. There were no spaces. I finally parked behind McAlister.

I don’t like this. I used to get there 15 minutes before the kickoff and have plenty of parking spaces to choose from. Now I have to get there over an hour before the game. The way we are going the parking situation will take care of itself. Not to worry.

….. and while we’re griping, don’t get me started on the concession stand debacle.

The parking is bad (contracted firm is just a joke)the concession lines are bad but how about we cut some slack because the the other changes have been really good. I am certainly willing to give the folks who made the changes some time to iron these problems out.

I get that there are lots of great changes. I love the new gameday experience. That said, if you donate to the Paladin Club and have a parking pass, you should be able to use it. You shouldn't be directed to the far edges of campus because the game is "sold-out". It's a joke.

The same thing happened to me in basketball last year where you are given a parking pass for a lot and you get there and you are told the lot is full. I found another lot easily but agree that should really never happen.
