FWIW the latest weather channel hourly. Prolly not right but anyway.
12 PM KO 40% showers
1 PM 35% isolated thundershowers
2 PM 70% thunderstorms
Hope there are no delays.

Hope our team wears the right-colored pants (the ones we wore at Sam & UT-C) today. I can't tell if they are silver or gray because I am somewhat colorblind. The all-white road outfits we took to Spartanburg didn't do so well.

Game has been delayed, now 12:34 CT kick. Was afraid of this. It may take 8 hours to play this game.

Anyone else nervous? And a delay doesn’t help the nerves.

Very nervous. Corey Watkins and Parker Stokes both out for the game. Coach Quarles on the pregame said they need to run the ball. Could be a recipe for disaster. Darren Grainger will start at QB. Plan to play both QB's but I think that is subject to change.

This is one of main reasons Basketball now trumps Football for me, basically no weather issues in Hoops

Dan Scott said a few minutes ago they have had heavy rain but it was just a drizzle now and they were hoping for an hour or 2 break to get some football in.

Forecasts mean nothing at this point. Just look at the radar. The break is coming real soon, if only for a short time. Yes, this could be an 8 hour game. Attendance will be terrible. I don't understand why any school makes a large bid to host a game on Thanksgiving weekend. AP will lose money on this game. Someone on their fan forum said FCS football is a money pit. I believe that.

My goodness that was a terrible start for Grainger

I believe that FB loses money for Furman. I believe there are intangible benefits to the school overall. Some questions are:
1. How much money does FB cost, net?
2. What are the intangible benefits to the school overall, and are those intangible benefits valuable enough to justify the net cost?
3. To what extent does FB support, or indirectly bring in support for, other sports at Furman?
