Can't believe we are already talking about our next game being a November game :!:
To say this one is important would be putting it lightly, need to make a statement here and keep the pedal to the metal :!:

Hopefully, the sunny forecast will hold since there is no tropical system in the gulf. NWS has a high of 58, perfect football weather.

Actually, Chattanooga is almost due west of Greenville.

Believe it or not, Furman getting a seed is still very much in play. I think a 9-3 Furman team that's ranked 13th (really 12th once taking out Princeton) at 5-3 could easily move up 4-5 spots over the last four games of the season.

New No Bowls prediction would be almost a dream scenario for me ... host non-scholarship San Diego, at Kennesaw, at James Madison ... no Bison until Frisco. Meanwhile, Wofford (as the AQ) would get hosed in this scenario with back-to-back trips to Montana in the first two rounds.

As the result of a dropped UTC pass, Woffy jumps 8 spots to #20. Go figure. Sometimes lucky is better than good.

Definitely see ways for the following to lose a game or two still, with 2 FU losses coming from FBS. Still gotta win out, but that is a dream scenario nobowls has.

7 Illinois State 6-2
8 Montana 6-2
9 Central Arkansas 6-2
10 Northern Iowa 5-3
11 Villanova 6-2

Not out of the realm of possibility that a current SoCon team sitting with two losses could earn the autobid. citadel comes immediately to mind with games against Woffy and Chat left to play. I could envision a scenario if we do happen to stub our toe against the Terriers or Mocs, that Furman (at-large) and the bulldogs (autobid) get the two bids. Still a lot of ball to be played and this isn't as cut and dry as it appears. Gotta take care of business.

Great point. Our last three SoCon games are NOT going to be easy. Road games against the other current top two teams in the conference and a home game against a solid VMI squad, whose QB has still yet to throw an INT by the way. I believe our team will be ready, but I fully believe we will have to play our best ball of the season to get through this stretch unscathed.
