Impressive start! 1-2 make not look great in the standings but this team has been capable of dropping L's on far better resourced teams. This is when that kind of a start pays off.

Man some good things and some bad things. I guess I look at what will be needed to make a deep run and not just win the conference but some things on D may keep us from that. Gonna piss everyone off I am sure but I have NEVER seen such poor ass tackling and aggressiveness from safeties. It wasn’t this way last year and there is a concerning pattern this season. I mean damn contact is ok this isn’t soccer. They are non existent in run plays and even seen several times they are in pass coverage while a runner crosses the goal line. What in the hell technique are they being taught? Put 7 in hell put anybody in.

GQ is in a zone. Grainger s legs are getting more confidence and the O line is showing they can be great. Defense is playing well the only drive Mercer scores they had to eat a ton of clock so kudos to Vaughn for that. If Mercer can’t get the home runs they can’t win. Pile it in. FU

Terrible execution on the option, sometimes you just gotta eat it

Hope that wide open dropped touchdown pass that would have made it 28-7 does not come back to haunt us

That was the first ball handling mishap that we saw too frequently last year. Grainger faked the pitch at first when he should've gone ahead and released it. Otherwise, he looks stellar again today.

Stay on the gas. We will still see freshman ooops from 4, but those will diminish as he matures and his upside is bigger than what I thought. We will be in the National Champ discussion in the years to come.

Great first half - way to make a statement. Now we must keep the momentum going and widen the lead in the second half. The third quarter has been a killer the past two weeks.
