saw some great plays. Gilby etc. I saw McKoy and Okeh and hugh ryan I think.. but did Weems play today? and CH has been pretty open about injuries. He mentioned Watkins needed rest and he held him out vs Charleston Southern. and he listed Weems as backup today so it's not really a secret w this coaching staff as much as others. CH seems to be pretty transparent.

Also saw several that concerned me - Harris, Grainger etc but appeared all returned !

anyone know if Weems played?

If you go to the box score, there's a tab called "participation."

Hardin's the holder. He'll play in every game we score.

Weems, Jones and Maples did not play. Others?

What's wrong with Maples? Last time I saw him he was running 66 yards for a TD in the 4th Q of CS game.

I thought coach said everyone would be ready for this game minus Jones unless he practiced and showed he could go this week?

Sometimes a guy gets dinged up in practice. If a guy isn't full speed, I'd hold him off for conference play.

We didn't have a banner day offensively, but I think it is notable that Grainger had 10 carries and no fullback besides Abrams had a carry.

My buddy from Dalton told me Shiflett got dinged up in practice early in week and did not practice for rest of week.

Yep. Must be good. Heard great things about size and speed so waiting for his first few receptions.

Just want to point out after Blackshear missed on that crucial INT against GSU, he came through for a big pick at a very similar place on the field against the Hokies. Don't look now, but the redshirt-freshman has a sack, a pick and two forced fumbles in three games. Also 6th on the team in tackles. Very impressive.

agree! and that's very good because ouir only area of missing two guys is defensive backfld. Jones and Weems have been out
