I know they didn't have anything to do with it, but I can't help but blame Wofford for taking our playoff spot. Hard to pledge conference allegiance to a team we beat by 20 and tied for the championship.

Go Phoenix.
No. We can only blame ourselves for not getting a spot. We need for both SoCon teams to do well in the playoffs. By the way, I doubt there are more than 1,000 butts in the seats at Woffy.

Horrible performance by the CAA so far . . . Towson crushed at home by Duquesne (FCS #66 in Massey), Elon downed by Wofford, Stony Brook favored by a TD but loses by 2 TDs to SEMO.

Yeppers 4 of their 6 teams lose today and the only win was when 2 CAA teams played.

Did anyone watch the Montana St vs ICW game? Wasn't impressed by either team.

Yes. We’d have beaten IW by 3 TDs. Thought MSU was Ok

ETSU beating Jacksonville State by 10 at the half.

If Wofford and ETSU move on and most of the CAA gets embarrassed today, it will be an even more bitter pill for Furman to swallow.

I’m confident we would beat every team that played today with the possible exception of at JMU. But we sure as hell would have scored more than 6 points. Still a joke a week later.

ETSU's magic, luck, horseshoe up their butt season has finally come to an end. 24-0 JSU so far in the second half.

Final was 34-27. Not a bad showing considering they opened as a 21.5 pt underdog.

The Bucs fumbled on the half yard line going in to tie up late in the 4th quarter.

I saw very little that blew me away yesterday. I can't help but feel if we had gotten in we would have reached the next round… again.

Wofford beating Elon… should help a lot next year with the CAA deserves so much respect talk. Also, The Citadel needs to beat Towson in Chuck Town.

The teams I would have loved to see the DINS play are UNI and JaxSt. I didn't realize that UIW was an air-raid team. After watching Hodges at Samford — no comparison.

Down the road in Atlanta Saturday the SoCon's last leaf on the tree goes against #2 Kennesaw, in a matchup of option teams with significantly differing styles. Should be an interesting afternoon. Will passing decide it?
