Can anyone offer advice on getting to/from William Brice Stadium? I’ll likely be staying overnight downtown.
1) is there free or inexpensive parking anywhere near the stadium or on campus? I see the Fairgrounds lot is $50.
2) if staying downtown, would it be easier and cheaper to just get an Uber/Lyft to the stadium? Also is there a designated rideshare lot for pickup?

Thanks.
Shuttles run all day from Colonial Life Arena to Williams-Brice. We plan on parking in the lots adjacent to the arena and shuttling back and forth. Cost is $10 per car round trip, $5 if you don’t park. More info here:

Better parking prices on Bluff Road but you need to come up from I 77 to get them. Also easier to get out after the game even if you are staying downtown.

This ain't 1982. What happened in '82 will not affect what happens Saturday night any more than than our '80's success against the the Wolfpack helped us in Raleigh two years ago.

I found the Official Scoring Summary of our 1982 victory over the Gamecocks. The ink is fading, but it is still readable and it is cool.

Hey - FUBeAR had a solo tackle in that game on an INT and it's not on the Stat Sheet ... (looking up Hunter Reid's email right now)

Y'all think we can turn it over 5 times on Saturday night, as we did in '82 (3 lost fumbles & 2 INT's), and still win?

You don't know that - FUBeAR knows more than a few of that '82 Team will be in attendance and Jason Donnelly already asked several of us if we want to dress out.

To paraphrase Coach Bobby Frost...that could make all the difference.

I rarely post these days but I had to sign in to give FUBeAR a like. If I were you, FUBeAR, I might call it quits for the day after that one and drink me some of that FU Bourbon.

I was about to comment about how hard this statement will be ignored by UFFP'ers and then I read the comments below outright calling "heresy" on this outlandish piece of sound logic.

Will the FU band be at the game?
Prolly not a good idea unless we can oufit a high school band and take them with us to shore up the numbers.
Wow. Why do you want to attack our band? Show a little respect. They are just as good and talented than ever. I appreciate the band members and hope they make the trip down to Columbia. Go Paladins!
No attack at all. You read what you want. Just stated a fact the playing members of the band is half what it used to be and no they are not as good/loud as they used to be. I’m sure the members are just as talented but just not as many. I appreciate the band/members and their contributions also.

No disrespect intended toward anyone, past or present. Just pointing out that the Storyline will be about the 1982 "upset", but the reality is that the 2023 Paladins will have to outplay the 2023 Gamecocks in order to win. I think Coach Sheridan would agree.

Good info here. None of the usual ‘looking forward to seeing how our 2’s and 3’s respond to seeing action in the 1st half’ stuff.

We definitely won’t be sneaking up on them. Watching some of those OLmen in PassPro though…we might be runnin’ by ‘em.

Good observation but we better be ready too. Our OL wasn't exactly dominant. Speed off their ends has me worried most
