Etsu was very smart. They could have scored earlier but milked the clock beautifully.
Impossible to build a fan base when you PISS away games like this one today

So easy. DB wasn’t wasn’t even close. Playing too far off and let him have the middle. Just can’t do that.

Furman just made too many mistakes against a good team. Dropped passes, false starts, and just couldn’t get off the field on 3rd downs

Dont tell me... post game interview... well D played well enuff to win. We just left alot of points on the field. We will regroup. Watch the film and try to get better.
GUTTED. Defense played well. The INT and the snap infraction penalty spelled doom for the Paladins as we just gave them the ball one too many times. Kudos to ETSU as they made adjustments and kept their QB protected in the 2nd half. I hope FU can regroup and find some motivation got the second half of the season as playoffs seem like a long shot now.
It was inevitable.. that last score was almost a given once they got to redzone. We allowed so many big passes on that last drive - NOT GOOD. that said, D was awesome overall.
let me repeat, D was awesome. we now allow about 16 pp game? damn that's good. Cmon O - get us at least 20. If we scored 20 everry Socon game we would be 5-1 in all probability (score 20 and we probably allow Mercer less points) and undefeated except NC State. Score 25 vs FCS we are definitely 5-1 and 5-0 in FCS..

I always put the ' line of demarcation' at 400 yards. Hold a team to less than 400 yards your D did well. we held them to 322
Same for our O - did we get 400 yards>? then we did well. Today we got 302.. Need at least 350 - should get 400
