At bottom, no one wanted it.
There were a bunch of teams with legit shots to get seeded. Someone had to get the seed.
Wofford probably feels like they earned it, but the polls never really liked the Terriers and regardless of how they finished, they started with two pretty ugly losses.
I remember a few years ago they showed UTC in the promo and then they didn't get a bid.
