What's the verdict? I kinda like, but... looked more WCU purple than FU purple. Maybe just appeared that way on TV. Also, partial to the double stripe on the helmet if you have a double stripe on the pants.

As a monotheist, and a person who values courtesy to others, I stand on the rock of white helmets for white uniforms. I cannot stand otherwise.
The color of a gentleman's belt should match his shoes. A civic-minded man would never wear a blue shirt with a brown suit. And helmets should be like soap, like undergarments... they should be white.
We would be in line with tradition if we wore purple helmets ONLY if our jerseys and/or pantaloons were purple.

Didn't think the UFFP would have me back, perhaps. Well, maybe I'm not "the norm". I don't "wear clothes that fit me". I'm not "hygienic" and "pop my white heads with a compass I used in high school".
I thought the purple helmets looked really good and they totally grew on me.
However, they didn't look better than the white helmets and made me think of Western Carolina.

Done. In general, all-black unis are not my favorite, but they seem to be the favorite in this particular twitterverse. Had I not voted for us I would have voted for South Dakota. Nothing compares to the all-whites with the double stripe.
