The FamilyGroup is glad to finally be out of the Sandlapper State, but the Paladins just bring it to ‘em this week. And, when FUBeAR sez “bring it to ‘em,” he means “BRING IT TO EM.”

Furman’s Foals have needed to get their young legs under them in the 1st 3 weeks of the season, but they started to get in their giddy-up in the 2nd half last week…regardless of the competition.

W&M’s QB is a problem, but Furman’s Freshman Fee-Nom QB is too and he’s growing up fast. It really starts to ‘slow down’ for him this week and Furman’s D plays their best game.

CAA’s SocialDivision is dispersed.

Working on some film study and scouting to come up with a score. I will say this, kickoff's for W&M were consistently at about the 3 yard line, nothing in the end zone. We have some explosive returners and I am hoping for some good return yards. However, too many chances means W&M is putting up points.

Sure would be nice to get a start at the 50 yd line based on a great KO return

This freshman QB looks like the real deal. Bio says he also ran track in high school. His throws look like they whistle through the air on TV. Strong arm, Deceptive speed, will get better every week. Backs and receivers are solid.

Don’t beat ourselves with penalties and take care of the ball. Punts are better than interceptions (most of the time).

It’ll probably be a hard day running for us. Underneath crossers and edge passes will be our game.

Their QB will drive us crazy extending plays and scrambling to convert. Our DBs will look better. We’ll probably need to load up the box a bit which will put pressure on our DBs, but it will be their best game.

This W&M team is very similar to last year's Furman squad—there are lots of seniors and grad students.
I'll be curious to see if they keep the schedule to play in Greenville for the season's first game next year.
