Is this a new title only or does it mean we will have a new AD.

Hmmm…maybe that’s why he keeps callin’ FUBeAR. Figured he was just repeatedly butt-dialing.

Appearing on GoPaladins.com is good for your career: https://furmanpaladins.com/news/2022/9/ ... etics.aspx

Congrats JD !!
Posted in Hoops thread also announcing this…all applies for Football…and all sports…

Vision, energy, always positive vibe (but candid/honest), 1st class people skills at the “ground level,” and FUBeAR (a mere infantryman) would imagine his people skills with the Top Brass & Elites are equally as developed.

If he’s not a jerk to work for, which doesn’t seem to be the case, he is an A+, 5-Star Player that we should endeavor to keep in FU Purple as long as possible …

…and #1 on his Performance Goals should always be the readiness of his successor to step into his role without missing a beat.

I believe it is a new title only, and he is still the AD. But I believe also that it means that Furman is increasing its commitment to and investment in intercollegiate athletics.
Have any of Furman's ADs in the past had the title of VP?
Yes, we do need to keep him. And when he does leave us (he will leave us), we need to be in a position to bring in or to promote an excellent successor, in order to immediately maintain and increase the quality of Furman athletics (as JD is doing).
