We lost to VMI who we never lose to. We lost at home to a UTC team that basically didn’t want to be here. We had to have a miracle combat to beat Sammy and won that because they fumbled at the goal. Barely won at ETSU and coukdn’t score to seal the deal twice from the one foot line. Our offense Saturday was terrible. We’ll see how the rest if the season goes and maybe they will give us something to be optimistic about. I am afraid whoever represents the SoCon, whether it be UTC or VMI will get destroyed.
This is indicative of several issues. We can't get a yard when we need it. Twice went for it vs Sam ? maybe around our 40 and didn't get it. Funny thing is we could do that easy our first year wtih the two big backs and the 'Fowler' OL guys.
