Stanford sponsored 36 sports and is now down to 25. Of course all of the “sports” they cut are laughable and are attributable to Stanford’s snobbish, elitist attitude. For example there are only 2 field hockey teams on the west coast.
Where are all those other SoCon sports being cut as we were told to expect?

They both cut programs from both mens and womens programs

Stanford has a 5% acceptance rate and Dartmouth has 10 % acceptance rate.

With these numbers they will easily be able to replace the non-scholie revenue

To replace the 100 players lost the admission rate (assuming the same number of applicants) would have to be 70%

Seems like we need to either lower price and costs or increase acceptance. Either way will impact rankings. But if that’s what it takes to stay in business, who cares?
