On the other hand Mercer is losing to Campbell in first half. Good grief. That ain’t good
That would be embarrassing.
YES IT WOULD. for Mercer team and staff
The hot seat that's currently under Bobby Lamb is now scalding...his days in Macon are numbered.
Not having Durden hurt Mercer but still losing to Campbell is not good for Mercer - man, that is a bad loss

In his last 9 years of coaching in the Southern Conference Bobby Lamb’s best record was 7-5. That includes 2007-2010 at Furman and 2013-2018 at Mercer. In 2013 Mercer was 10-2 when they were in the Patriot League. In the Southern Conference his last good year was 2006.

Maybe a great player but not a great coach.

Embarrassing for Mercer and the SoCon. Pretty sure the SoCon had dominated the Big South until tonight.

Crazy scores today

Wofford 51-35 VMI
Chattanooga 60-36 Western Carolina
Samford 61-55 The Citadel (4 OTs though)

A play from the Chatt-Western Carolina game made the ESPN highlight package. Western's punter faked the punt and ran right down the middle of the field for a 70 yard TD.

Not FCS, but Clemson, who was a 4 TD favorite, beat UNC when the Tar Heels failed on a two point conversion try. Clemson's last TD was the first time they had lead the whole game.
VMI offense is pretty ok I think (relatively at VMI). 31, 21 and 36 in the FCS games. Again, it's VMI but that is better than normal as they put 36 on Wofford (loss, 36-51)
