Can we just go with the coaching staff has decided to hold back/go easy on their mission critical starters who are already proven commodities?
I'll be stunned if Stokes, the RBs etc. aren't ready for Chuck South...even more so because Hendrix would wrap them in bubble wrap if he could.
Even if they are a little banged up, Furman has enough depth where Hendrix doesn't need them practicing banged up because he finally has solid depth. No reason to have guys pushing through the pain for an exhibition scrimmage.
