It will be close. I've seen at least one bracket prediction that has Virginia an 11 seed playing Colorado in a play-in game. South Carolina was predicted to be a 5 seed and Clemson a 6 seed. Samford was projected to be a 13 seed going up against Auburn.

UVA has given me some great memories over the last year.

What’s that so far 4 wins in 4 days? No “tired legs” for the Wolfpack.

We’ll see tonight. UNC is always a tough match up for State. Will need for good things to happen early and a little luck. May still not be enough. Still a fun 4 days if your a State fan after a very pedestrian season.

DPLOT. Point of note. Had Furman’s 1974 NCAA Tourney team (the ones that beat the chickens while Paris Mtn burned) beaten Pittsburgh in our only Sweet 16 appearance(L78-81)we would have advanced to the final 4 after dispatching Burleson, Thompson and Towe et. al.

Most bracket projections have Virginia as one of the last four teams out.

Lunardi now has Samford a 12 seed vs S Carolina

If anyone deserved to lose it was Virginia. Missed 2 free throws up 5, then made one of 2, then with a three point lead missed the front end of a one and one. Did not deserve a bid but got one.
