The Gamecocks for some reason played at Coastal tonight in their small gym that seats about 250 and got steamrolled by 24 points. You have to admit that puts a smiie on your face.

And why won’t they come play us in our “small gym”?
Same question for Clemson.
Another question is why will neither of these play us even in their own gym.

We should propose a state championship tournament every year rotating from Greenville to Columbia to Charleston with USC, CU, FU, WC, bellhops, Coastal, Winthrop, CofC. Of course the big boys would chicken out, but it would be fun to make them publicly chicken out.

To be fair SC did come to Timmons and lost by about 20 so of course they haven’t been. Doubt you will see them in Conway again. CU came to Timmons and got a W but it wasn’t easy. With the 2 current head coaches at SC and CU you won’t see FU on their schedule.

Yes, I realize that SC did come to Timmons several years ago, but I actually meant why won't they come again! Did not realize Clemson ever came to Timmons. But I just wanted someone else to verbalize what the reason is, even though I know it's probably because they don't want to lose to Furman.

The attendance was 2,924, which is 900 more than were at Timmons last night.

The point about enjoying seeing SC lose stands!
